On Family Art Saturdays, educators lead hands-on activities for kids of all abilities. Family Art Saturday is free, too – check it out on the second Saturday of each month, from 2 to 4 pm.
- Utah Museum of Fine Arts – Located on the University of Utah campus, this museum includes the most extensive and eclectic collection of art in the state. With “museum gallery backpacks” available, a trip to this art gallery is a bit more hands-on, should you choose to bring your family; a simple tour or film screening will do if you’re by yourself, though.
