For Mike Hale Acura, “excellence” isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a standard to which we hold ourselves every day. We strive to make the car buying experience excellent for our consumers; and we wish to make our community excellent, as well. And the many awards we’ve earned over our decades of operation stand as proof of our dedication to this goal, whether they mark the efforts of our incredible staff, or the continued reduction of our environmental impact. Here are just a few of the awards we’ve won so far.
Precision Team Award
Awarded in 1988, 1998, 2000, 2004, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2016
The Precision Team Award is one of the most prestigious awards an Acura dealer can receive, and Mike Hale Acura has received it 8 times. It’s an honor bestowed on only the most excellent dealership teams, those that deliver superior customer satisfaction, boast expert sales and service training, and the best in customer follow-up and general business management. To earn it, a dealership has to meet a rigorous set of benchmarks, and only has a year to do it. The frequent recognition of the staff of Mike Hale Acura is further proof that we offer Murray and Salt Lake City drivers nothing but excellence in all areas.
TIME Dealer of the Year Award 2010
While the Precision Team Award is one of the highest honors an Acura dealership can earn, the TIME Dealer of the Year might be one of the highest honors a dealership can earn full stop. To earn it, it’s not enough for a dealer to simply exhibit exceptional performance; it must also show exceptional dedication to community service and the world at large. Only the finest dealerships ever receive this award, and Mike Hale Acura is proud to count ourselves among them.
Acura Environmental Leadership Award
In 2017, Mike Hale Acura was bestowed the Acura Environmental Leadership Award in recognition of our dedication to reducing our environmental impact. This award is just one of Acura’s many initiatives aimed at reducing its environmental impact (you can learn more by reading their North American Environmental Report). To earn it, a dealership must meet or exceed several strict benchmarks, including reducing its total energy by at least 10 percent.
It wasn’t an easy task, but our dedication to environmentalism is resolute. Our General Manager, Nita Tuitupou, says, “Our [customers] now have the extra piece of mind, knowing they’re doing business with a dealership that is committed to reducing its environmental impact in the community.”
So through innovations like installing LED lighting, high efficiency HVAC units, and time clock lighting, we were able to meet these goals and earn this honor. And we’re not stopping there—we will continue to work hard to make our dealership as efficient and green as the fine Acura eco cars we sell.
